How I use it
One page a week
Every page teaches one thing, in the order I teach it in lessons. Faster is fine when a student is ready.
"Done when" is the tick
At the bottom of every page is what the student has to play for you before you tick it off together. Not "more or less", but for real.
The tempo card does the work
At the back the student writes down the metronome setting per page. That card does more for motivation than any sticker.
What you may do with it
Print it, hand it out and use it in your own lessons, for as many students as you like. Free. Keep the name dedrum.studio in it, don't change the content and don't sell it. All pages are typeset in LilyPond and grew out of real lessons with real students.
Does the book help you? Then you can buy me a coffee when you download it. That is voluntary, you get nothing extra for it and the book stays free for everyone.
Would you do a page differently, is something missing, or do you use the book and want to let me know? I'd love to hear from you.
