  At 21, I started a place for recording, rehearsing and music lessons with my brother Jonathan. Silver Note Studios is still my home base for making music.

  Teaching drums

  A student plays me a song on their phone. We listen to the drums, try the first few bars and work out what needs practice. That's how I like to teach: figure something out together, then learn to play it yourself. Since 2025, I've taught at N201, with Wednesday lessons at note.studio.

  Drum clinics with Fabian

  Fabian and I ran drum clinics across the Netherlands and once in New York. Drummers in one room, sharing ideas, listening and learning from one another.

  2017–2025On tour

  On tour with Sevdaliza

  One audition led to eight years of touring. More than 300 shows, five continents and over 45 cities. From the Wanderess Tour to NPR Tiny Desk and ARTE Concert. These days, you'll mostly find me back in Aalsmeer.
