Who we are
dedrum.studio is a drum lesson company based in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands. We give drum lessons and use digital tools for administration, invoicing and communication with students.
What data we collect
We collect and process the following personal data:
- Name and contact details (email address, telephone number)
- Billing details and payment information
- Class schedule and attendance information
- WhatsApp phone number (for notifications)
How we use your data
- Scheduling and giving drum lessons
- Preparing and sending invoices
- Sending notifications via email and WhatsApp (invoices, class schedule, holiday information)
- Processing payments
- Communication about your lessons and our services
Legal basis
We process your data based on:
- Performance of our agreement (providing drum lessons and associated administration)
- Your consent (for WhatsApp notifications)
- Legal obligation (tax record retention requirements)
Third party services
We use the following services:
- Cal.com (EU region): for scheduling trial lessons and catch-up lessons
- Formspree: for processing messages via the contact form
- Invoiless: for creating and sending invoices
- Mollie: for processing payments
- Resend: for sending email notifications
- WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta): for notifications via WhatsApp
- Cloudflare: for hosting and security of our website
- Google Analytics: for anonymous visitor statistics
We never sell your data to third parties.
Retention period
We store your personal data as long as you are a student and then for a maximum of 7 years, in line with the tax retention obligation.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Have your data corrected or deleted
- Restrict the processing of your data
- Withdraw your consent (e.g. for WhatsApp notifications)
- Submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority
WhatsApp notifications
If you give permission, we will send you notifications via WhatsApp about invoices, class schedules and holidays. You can unsubscribe at any time by letting us know. We use Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform for this.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.
