This isHi-Head.
A cymbal for a head and a character of his own: Hi-Head is part of dedrum.studio. Illustrator @saverieau created him in 2023. Here's how the first sketches became the mascot you see today.

The first ideas
The panda
A panda with character. This was my early favourite: something about it felt right straight away.
The alligator
This one took longer to grow on me. The snare on his back gave the idea an interesting direction.
A cymbal for a head
This is where Hi-Head began to emerge. He reminded me of the samurai in Japanese films I loved when I was younger, and still enjoy today.
Taking shape
Step by step, Hi-Head's design came together. Details from my existing logos and ideas found a subtle place in the character.
The studio's mascot
Hi-Head brings together drums, creativity and the pleasure of playing. You'll spot him on the website and around the studio.
Where can you find him?
