I'm Anthony. Together, we'll work out the drum parts in music you love. You'll build your technique, develop your timing and learn to play along.
For children aged 5 and up, teenagers and adults. Beginners and experienced drummers welcome.

How I teach
Start with what you want to learn.
What would you love to play? What's proving tricky? We'll shape your lessons around that, with exercises that help you move forward.
Bring your favourite music.
A song you keep coming back to is a good place to start. We'll listen, break down the rhythm and build it up a little at a time.
Time to focus on your playing.
Your lesson is one to one, at the same time each week. I get to know your playing and help you work out the next step.
Play an acoustic kit.
Hear and feel every note. The drums are ready when you arrive; we'll work on your sound, your control and playing with the music.
Your first rhythm. And whatever comes next.

Plenty of playing, short activities and time to explore. Your child gets to know rhythm and the drum kit through playful, manageable steps.
