Message about silver note studios.
Why I have left the previous location
Short explanation.
After more than ten years of building Silver Note Studios with dedication and care, I have decided to move into a new phase of my musical journey. Over time, the studio grew into a creative space for musicians and teachers. But as the structure and collaboration around it changed, it became less clear what my long-term role would be as founder.
Alongside the growth of my own work as a musician and educator, I felt the need to realign my focus. That is why I have chosen to step away from the rehearsal space at Aalsmeerderweg.
Starting July 2025, Wendy Baak will take over management of the space under a new name: Muziekstudio Aalsmeer. She will also continue with the existing client base and the studio layout I developed over the years. Letting go of something you have poured your heart, time, and energy into is never easy, but I do so with trust that it will remain a valuable space for musicians in the area.
Meanwhile, my drum school has moved to N201, the cultural center of Aalsmeer. There, under the name de drum.studio, I will continue offering lessons, workshops, and new creative projects. The name Silver Note Studios will move with me and continue to represent my musical vision and community.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the studio over the years. If you are curious about the new space or want to learn more, you are always welcome.
